Electric vehicle (EV) startup Bollinger has announced it is expanding its unreleased lineup of EV trucks with a new Class 3 commercial truck platform.
The Bollinger B2 electric pick up truck will be built with a customizable chassis, allowing it to be customized for a number of specific uses.
The chassis will the same one as the company’s other electric vehicle, the B1 sport utility truck. It will be available in a two-door or four-door configuration, and will come with a hefty $125,000 price tag.
For that much money, you’ll get a 120kWh battery pack, which Bollinger claims will give you a range of up to 200 miles (321km). It will feature 614 horsepower, 668 lb-ft of toruq, and a 7,500lb towing capacity.
It will also be adjustable to fit a variety of wheelbase lengths for a multitude of desired applications. It will come with hydro-pneumatic self-leveling suspension and independent front and rear suspension, and optional portal gear hubs.
Bollinger’s tager audience for the B2 is “municipalities, park services, emergency response vehicles, airports, construction, landscaping, electricians, plumbers, security, [and] non-tactical military,” according to a press release from the company.
Both the B1 and B2 trucks are priced at $125,000 USD, and can be reserved now with a $1,000 fully refundable deposit.
