Tesla begins Cybertruck deliveries in the UAE with Dubai launch event

Tesla has officially Cybertruck deliveries in the United Arab Emirates. The first customer handovers were celebrated with a launch event in Dubai, complete with what was claimed to be the largest Cybertruck light show ever staged in the country.

A video from the event was shared on X, showing a lineup of stainless-steel Cybertrucks illuminated in synchronized patterns as deliveries officially got underway. With this launch, the UAE becomes the second market outside North America to see the electric pickup on public roads, following South Korea’s debut late last year.

The start of deliveries a few months after Tesla’s decision to open Cybertruck orders in the UAE back in September 2025. At the time, reservation holders were invited to convert their deposits into firm orders, with Tesla also confirming that a public configurator would roll out across several Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar, where deliveries are likely to also begin soon.

Pickup trucks in the region often serve a dual role as both functional vehicles and luxury status symbols. Its distinctive design is also likely to appeal to affluent drivers who split their time between urban commuting and off-road or desert driving. In fact, many people in Dubai went to the extra expense of importing a Cybertruck soon after its debut in the United States, not to mention modifying them extensively.

The Cybertruck launch could soon be followed by another major Tesla milestone in the UAE. Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) software may be nearing its debut in the UAE, after CEO Elon Musk responded to a question on social media in December about when it might launch, saying, “Hopefully, next month.”
