Tesla has launched a new promotion that connects its service network directly with its advanced driver-assistance software. Starting now, anyone who purchases a full set of tires through Tesla will receive a complimentary 30-day trial of Full Self-Driving (Supervised).
The offer applies to all major Tesla models — Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, and Cybertruck — and is available to both U.S. and Canadian customers.
To qualify, vehicles must be equipped with the Full Self-Driving computer (Hardware 3.0 or later) and not already have FSD (Supervised) purchased outright.
How It Works
To take advantage of the promotion, owners can purchase a full set of tires through the Tesla Shop or directly in the Tesla app. Once the order is complete, they can schedule an installation appointment through the app.
After all four tires are installed and the requirements are met, the 30-day FSD (Supervised) trial will automatically begin.
Installations must be completed by January 31, 2026, and Tesla notes that vehicles may need to perform an over-the-air (OTA) software update before the FSD (Supervised) features become available.
The company also clarifies that the offer excludes replacements covered under the Wheel and Tire Protection Plan, and that only one FSD trial can be active at a time.
Expanding the Tire Center Experience
This new promotion builds on the new “Tire Center,” which was added to the Tesla mobile app last week. The feature allows owners to browse tire options, view recommended models based on driving conditions, and book installation appointments directly.
By bundling a free FSD (Supervised) trial with a tire purchase, Tesla is using a routine maintenance opportunity to showcase its most advanced software. The move not only boosts Service Center activity but also introduces more owners to FSD.
Perfect Timing for Seasonal Tire Changes
With the promotion running through the winter season, the timing couldn’t be better. Many Tesla owners in Canada and northern U.S. states are now scheduling winter tire installations, making this a natural incentive to use Tesla’s official service network instead of third-party shops.
While FSD (Supervised) still requires active driver monitoring and is not considered fully autonomous, this latest offer gives owners a no-risk way to experience Tesla’s most capable driving software.
