Tesla owners in the Greater Toronto Area now have another high-speed charging option with the opening of a new Supercharger in Milton, Ontario, providing much-needed charging capacity along the busy Highway 401 corridor.
The Milton Supercharger first appeared on Tesla’s official map of upcoming locations in November 2024. Several months later, construction began in April 2025, with installation work moving quickly over the summer. Consruction was largely complete by June, and now the site has finally been energized.

The Milton Supercharger is located at 1149 Maple Avenue and features 16 V4 Supercharger posts capable of delivering up to 325 kW for compatible vehicles. Due to its anticipated congestion, Tesla has introduced time-of-day pricing at the Milton site.
For Tesla owners, rates range from $0.27/kWh in the early morning to $0.59/kWh during peak afternoon hours. Non-Tesla EVs, which require a NACS adapter to use the stalls, pay a premium, with fees running between $0.38/kWh and $0.67/kWh depending on the time of day.
This pricing model incentivizes charging during off-peak hours and helps balance demand at busier times.

Milton is one of the fastest-growing communities in Ontario, located west of Toronto and adjacent to key commuter routes. The new Supercharger sits conveniently close to Highway 401, one of Canada’s busiest highways, making it an ideal stop for long-distance travelers heading between Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo, and London.
For local residents, the site also reduces reliance on more congested Supercharger stations in Mississauga, Burlington, Oakville, and Brampton, all of which regularly see high usage.
