Tesla Supercharger map update for May 2025

Tesla has rolled out another monthly update to its Supercharger map in Canada, with several new potential locations added and a handful also removed. This update continues the trend of monthly updates on Tesla’s charging network plans as the company evaluates site feasibility and demand.

As part of the May 2025 update, Tesla added 13 new Supercharger locations across five provinces, which are tagged as “in development” on Tesla’s Find Us map. This label means Tesla is actively working to secure a site in these areas, though final agreements have not yet been signed.

As you can see from the update below, sites are frequently added and removed, so while this provides transparent information to owners, it is still very fluid and may not necessarily result in completed stations.

Here are the newly added Canadian locations:

  • British Columbia: Campbell River, Hope, Abbotsford, Richmond (x2), North Vancouver
  • Alberta: St. Albert, Red Deer County
  • Ontario: Ottawa, Etobicoke
  • Quebec: Laval, Brossard, La Malbaie

In addition to the new sites, one location that was added was also marked as under construction, Delta, BC, at the Ladner Trunk overpass on Hwy 99. If anyone in the area can check it out for us, please send us some photos.

At the same time, four locations were removed from the map, all of which were previously listed as “in development.” These removals suggest that Tesla was unable to finalize a deal or that plans shifted due to site-specific challenges or shifting regional priorities. The removed locations are:

  • British Columbia: Prince Rupert, Nanaimo
  • Quebec: Louvicourt, Mont-Tremblant
