Update: The episode with Elon Musk will air on May 27th, 2020.
It has been a few months since we first saw Jay Leno and Tesla CEO Elon Musk driving along LA streets in the Cybertruck prototype for Leno’s CNBC show ‘Jay Leno’s Garage’.
We now get our first glimpses of what to expect during the episode, which will air at some point during the 6th season, which premiers on May 20th at 10:00pm EST (7:00PM PST).
The sneak peak at the upcoming seasons shows Leno with a variety of celebrities and a collection of high powered vehicles, but the one we’re all waiting for is with Elon Musk and the Cybertruck.
The short video shows us the Cyberquad ATV being unloaded off the back the Cybertruck at SpaceX headquarters. Hopefully this means we’ll get a closer look at the “one more thing” from the Cybertruck unveiling, as the Cyberquad was a little overshadowed by all the news surrounding the Cybertruck.
The preview also shows what appears to be Leno in the Cybertruck going for a ride in one of Musk’s other ventures, the Boring Company Tunnel in LA.
Leno recently released some unreleased footage from 2008 when Musk brought him the first production unit of the Tesla Roadster, and let Leno take it out for a spin.
No details were provided by CNBC as to when the Cybertruck episode will air, but hopefully it will be soon. I know lots of Tesla fans will be eagerly anticipating that episode during lockdown.
