Tesla has officially opened a new Supercharger station in Abbotsford, British Columbia, adding another fast-charging location in the Fraser Valely.
The new site is located at 34596 Delair Road, in the parking lot of a Dairy Queen just off Highway 1, making it a convenient stop for drivers traveling between Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and destinations farther east. The station features 12 V4 Supercharger stalls capable of delivering up to 325 kW.
The location had been under construction since September last year and is now live on Tesla’s charging map. According to Tesla’s charging map and mobile app, the Abbotsford station supports charging for all electric vehicles using a NACS adapter, part of Tesla’s broader move to open portions of its network to other EV brands.
Tesla owners benefit from lower charging rates, as low as $0.25/kWh during off-peak hours, compared to $0.35/kWh for non-Tesla vehicles.

There are two other Superchargers in the city of Abbotsford, one on the west side at Highstreet Shopping Center (12 stalls), and another on the east side at the Esso gas station on Whatcom Road (20 stalls). Combined, there are now 44 Superchargers stalls in Abbotsford.
Abbotsford sits along a critical stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway, which serves as the primary east-west route through southern British Columbia. For EV drivers heading toward Hope, the Coquihalla Highway, and the Okanagan, the new Supercharger provides a convenient place to top up before beginning the climb into the mountains.
