Cobourg Supercharger now open [Ontario]

Tesla Canada’s Supercharger team has been busy turning on new stations this week. One of the latest to go live is in Cobourg, Ontario.

The Cobourg Supercharger started construction in July in the parking lot near Mark’s clothing store and Canadian Tire at 1125 Elgin Street West, just a short 2 minute drive off Hwy 401.

The site features 8 V3 250kW stalls, as well as 2 FLO DC fast chargers like many new Supercharger stations as of late.

Although it doesn’t appear in the in-car navigation yet there have been reports on social media that the station is now powered up and active.

Tesla’s website also shows the station is now open.

Nearby amenities include a Tim Hortons and a convenience store for the Canadian Tire gas station. The Northumberland Mall is also located directly across the street.

The Cobourg Supercharger is located about 10 minutes away from the Port Hope Superchargers which also has 8 stalls, but are the slower 150kW V2 Superchargers.
