Tesla has opened its second Supercharger station in Canada in 2025, with the opening Calgary’s third Supercharger.
Tesla first started construction of the Calgary Supercharger in November 2024. Located on Aviation Road NE next to the Calgary International Airport, the 12 stall Supercharger was just the third station in Greater Calgary, with a fourth just outside of city limits at Crossiron Mills in Rocky View.
In a relatively short time frame compared to many Canadian Supercharger projects in the last year, Tesla commissioned and turned on the new V4 Supercharger late on Tuesday.
According to the mobile app and Tesla’s website, the new Calgary Supercharger costs $0.67/kWh for Tesla owners. This station is also accessible to non-Tesla owners, who will have to pay $0.88/kWh to plug in and charge with their North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter, or opt for the $16.99/month non-Tesla Supercharging membership, which gives subscribers the same rate as Tesla owners.
(Editor’s note: Tesla has updated the mobile app and website to indicate this is a V4 Supercharger with max charging speeds up to 325kW. The article has been updated to reflect this.)

With the completion of this Supercharger in Calgary, there are no other stations under construction in the province of Alberta. However, Tesla is working to bring two new Superchargers to Grand Prairie and Fort McMurray in the north, as well as a third station to Canmore.
As noted above, this is the second Supercharger to open in Canada in 2025. The only other station to open thus far was in Ingersoll, Ontario, in mid-January.
