Tesla has officially opened two new Supercharger stations in Severn, Ontario, offering a unique setup designed to serve traffic along Highway 11. What makes this site unique is that it features two separate 8-stall V4 Superchargers — one for each direction of travel — for a combined total of 16 stalls.
The new Superchargers, located at Webers, were created this way to overcome the challenge posed by Highway 11’s divided lanes, which would have otherwise made it difficult for drivers traveling in the opposite direction to access a single charging site. To work around this, Tesla built one station at the Webers Northbound parking lot for those travelling toward Muskoka and northern Ontario, and another across the highway in the southbound parking lot for those heading to Barrie or further south.
Despite being on opposite sides of the divided highway, the two sites are connected via a pedestrian overpass, allowing drivers to easily access Webers’ popular burger stand and amenities while charging.

The project has been in the works since late 2024, when Tesla first began construction on the northbound site. At the time, it was speculated that a second station would follow due to the divided highway. These suspicions were confirmed by local reports indicating that Tesla had planned for two identical 8-stall installations from the start.
Construction was accelerated thanks to Tesla using their prefabricated Supercharger installation process. Components for the Severn stations were pre-assembled at Giga New York before being shipped to the site, drastically reducing on-site build time. However, while they were built quickly, the final step — utility connection and energization — remains dependent on local utility companies and is the final stumbling block, especially in Ontario.
After a 6+ month wait, both sites were finally energized over the weekend. Charging fees are $0.48 per kWh for Tesla owners, and $0.68/kWh for non-Tesla owners. The site features V4 Supercharger posts, capable of charging speeds up to 325kW.
