Tesla has officially released its Robotaxi app to all iOS users across the United States, marking a key milestone in the company’s robotaxi and ride-hailing rollout.
The announcement was made by Tesla’s official Robotaxi account in the U.S., with the company saying after downloading the app users will be able to join a waitlist for upcoming service access, with broader availability expected in the coming weeks.
However, while Tesla’s announcement said the app is available “to all,” the app is unfortunately not yet available in Canada.
An Android version is also in development and will be released shortly, ensuring both major mobile platforms are supported.
If you are in the U.S., you can download Tesla’s Robotaxi app at this link (on your iPhone).

The availability of the app to the general public comes just over two months after the company first launched its robotaxi network in the U.S., beginning with pilot programs, first in Texas, and then later in California.
In Austin, Tesla recently introduced two important changes to its robotaxi service. Robotaxis are now operating on highways, expanding service beyond city streets and giving riders faster, more practical trip options. Alongside this change, Tesla has relocated the safety operator from the passenger seat to the driver’s seat.
In California, home to Tesla’s Fremont factory, the company has been testing its ride-hailing network with a large service zone in the Bay Area that stretches from north of the Golden Gate Bridge, all the way to south of San Jose . Unlike in Texas, safety operators are positioned in the driver seat at all times.
