Tesla launches redesigned Wireless Portable Charger for mobile devices

Tesla has introduced a new, redesigned Wireless Portable Charger for mobile devices to its online shop on Wednesday.

The charger is priced at $130 in Canada and $95 in the US, up from the previous pricing of C$90 CAD andUS$70. It also comes in fewer colours, Black, Rose Gold, and White, unlike its predecessor which came in all the same colours as Tesla painted its vehicles.

What’s new with the redesign is that this new version can charge up to two QI-enabled devices simultaneously, including two smartphones thanks to its clamshell design.

This magnetic, hinged design that allows devices to stand upright while charging, making it easy for you to interact with your phone during the charging process, with indicator lights providing a quick glance at the charge status.
