Tesla increases Cybertruck inventory discounts to over $16K in Canada, over $11K in the U.S.

Tesla has increased discounts on Cybertruck inventory in Canada and the United States. The move comes as the automaker looks to sell off its Foundation Series inventory in Canada, and the previous model year Cybertruck in the U.S. that is not eligible for the US$7,500 federal tax credit.

Canadian Cybertruck Discounts

In Canada, buyers of a Foundation Series Cybertruck in the Cyberbeast trim can see savings reaching as high as C$16,590, bringing the price down from its original level of $165,990, down to $149,400. Meanwhile, discounts on the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) version of the Foundation Series are as much as C$13,790, bringing the price down to as low as $124,200.

Tesla first applied discounts to the Cybertruck in Canada in February, equating to 5% discounts on both vehicles. These new discounts are 10% off.

Along with the discounted prices, Foundation Series buyers in Canada still get free lifetime Supercharging. This perk could translate to significant long-term savings, especially for drivers who plan to regularly rely on the Supercharger network for road trips or daily commuting.

U.S. Cybertruck Discounts

The discounts are similar in the U.S.:

  • Foundation Series: Up to US$11,990 off, plus free lifetime Supercharging
  • Non-Foundation Series: Up to US$10,550 off

As we noted, while the 2024 Cybertrucks in the U.S. come with deep discounts, 2025 model year Cybertrucks are excluded from this inventory sale as they are not eligible for the US$7,500 federal tax credit. Also missing from these discounts is Tesla’s newly announced Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) variant, which is priced at US$69,990, or US$62,490 after applying the US$7,500 federal EV tax credit.

However, the RWD model comes with fewer premium features compared to its higher-tier siblings, a tradeoff for its lower price point.
