Tesla is looking to expand its Robotaxi network, adding two new cities in Florida to its autonomous ride-hailing plans.
As part of a broader U.S. rollout planned for 2026, the company confirmed that Orlando and Tampa will join Miami as future Robotaxi markets.
The Robotaxi rollout will also include Las Vegas, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, all of which were announced in November last year. According to Tesla, all of these markets targeted for launch in the first half of 2026.

Currently, Tesla’s Robotaxi operations are limited to two regions. In the San Francisco Bay Area, vehicles continue to operate with onboard safety drivers. Meanwhile, Austin has emerged as Tesla’s most advanced Robotaxi market, where the company is actively transitioning toward fully unsupervised operation.
While these launches are planned for the first half of the year, Tesla also appears to have significant expansion plans for the second half. During the earnings call, CEO Elon Musk said he expects there to be fully autonomous vehicles in “probably 25-50% of the U.S. by the end of the year, pending regulatory approval,” echoing similar comments he made last year that did not come to fruition.
