Tesla announces 1.99% APR financing promo for US Model 3 buyers

Tesla has announced a new offer for Model 3 and Model Y buyers in the US that will allow them to access 1.99% APR financing as it tries to move more inventory. The deal is available on orders placed before the end of August, and delivery must occur before September ends.

Tesla’s official North America handle posted about the new promotion on X (formerly Twitter). Buyers opting for any of the Model 3 Long Range RWD, Model 3 Long Range AWD, or Model 3 Performance can take advantage of the offer. However, Tesla has excluded the entry-level Model 3, which is available with 5.99% APR financing.

Meanwhile, all Tesla Model Y trims, including the Model Y Long Range RWD, Model Y Long Range AWD, and Model Y Performance, also qualify for 1.99% APR financing.

The promotional financing package applies to plans of up to 72 months. Buyers can still opt for the 84-month plan, but it attracts a 3.99% APR.

Tesla has said the 1.99% APR promotion affects orders placed in August. However, for the Model Y, Tesla started the promo on July 18. Buyers must take delivery before the end of September.

Tesla is currently running a 0% APR promo across the pond on Model 3 and Model Y, but there is no word of such an offer for the Canadian market.
