Tesla (TSLA) stockholders can enter draw to attend 2022 Annual Meeting of Stockholders in person

Tesla (TSLA) will be holding its 2022 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on August 4 at Giga Texas. The meeting will be livestreamed, but stockholders will be allowed to attend in-person if they are selected through a random draw.

Details of the event and drawing were outlined in a regulatory filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday. (h/t: @SawyerMerritt)

As with their other livestreamed events, the meeting will be open to the general public, but only stockholders as of June 6, 2022 will be allowed to attend and submit votes and comments at the meeting.

Additionally, only stockholders as of June 6 will be allowed to enter a random draw to attend in person.

Tesla says they are doing this to make it as fair as possible due to the limited number of seats available.

To enter you can enter in your personal details on the meeting website.

You will also be required to submit proof you were a “stockholder of record” as of June 6. The details of what is considered acceptable proof is included on the site.
