Lucid reports another quarter of record EV deliveries in Q2 2025

Lucid has released its second quarter 2025 production and delivery results, posting another quarter of record deliveries, with production also showing signs of strength.

During the three-month period from April to June, the luxury electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer produced 3,863 vehicles at its manufacturing facility, AMP-1, in Casa Grande, Arizona. This is a substantial 83% increase compared to the same quarter last year. Of those, deliveries totaled 3,309 units, up 38% year-over-year and representing Lucid’s highest-ever figure for quarterly deliveries, and its seventh record quarter in a row.

Lucid did not provide a breakdown of deliveries between the Air and Gravity, the latter of which started deliveries in earnest in April.

Despite the growth, the numbers reveal a gap between production and delivery. Lucid produced 554 more vehicles than it delivered in the quarter. This is a reversal from the trend seen in the first half of 2025, where Lucid delivered 6,418 vehicles—343 more than it produced over the same period.

This dynamic suggests Lucid has been drawing down inventory accumulated in earlier quarters, a possible indicator of healthy demand.

If Lucid maintains its current quarterly production pace, it is on track for approximately 15,500 vehicles annually, below its expectations of approximately 20,000 vehicles, last reiterated in its Q1 2025 earnings report in May.

Lucid plans to release its Q2 financial results on August 5, 2025, at 2:30 PM PT/5:30 PM ET. For the call, Lucid is partnering with Say Technologies to engage shareholders who can submit and vote on questions from July 22 to August 4 via the Q&A platform. This is the same platform that Tesla uses for its earnings calls.
