Chaevi, one of South Korea’s largest EV industry players, is partnering with Foreseeson Technology to expand its ultra-fast EV charging network in Canada.
The MOU, which was signed on Friday, will see Chaevi supply 400kW ultra-fast chargers for use in Canada by Foreseeson. While Foreseeson handles site development, installation, ownership and operation within the country.
As part of the agreement, Chaevi will ship 100 of its ultra-fast chargers in 2026. Starting in 2027, they will ship 200 units annually, allowing Foreseeson to expand gradually across the country, with initial deployments in British Columbia.
The partnership will allow Foreseeson to expand its network as it rolls out chargers to site owners on a no-upfront-cost model. This model allows revenue from the charger to be split between the site owner and Foreseeson, without the upfront costs associated with other charging options.
Foreseeson is one of the biggest EV players in British Columbia, with 4,000+ residential chargers and 2,000+ commercial EV chargers installed or managed by its EV branch, Foreseeson EVSE. The company has worked with Coast Mountain Bus Company, YVR, and a host of cities around the Lower Mainland for their charging needs.
The company already has level 2 commercial stations and level 3 Direct Current Fast Charging stations, and this new Chaevi-powered option will give Foreseeson one of the most diverse and tech-forward EV charging line-ups in the country.
