Colorado Tesla store vandalized for the 3rd time

Tesla has once again been the victim of vandalism, this time targeting a Colorado store in a third attempt.

Tesla has its fans and haters, and the latter have struck again. The EV maker has suffered vandalism to its store and product in Colorado, according to the Loveland Police Department. The most recent incident involved a fire that was reported at the location at 1606 North Lincoln Avenue at 7:00 a.m.

Several vehicles were affected, with “offensive” graffiti written on them. The media reports multiple cars with large X figures sprayed on their windshields. However, there has been no footage of the fire damage.

The police department reports that it has responded to two similar incidents in the past at the same location. It is currently investigating the January 29 and February 2 occurrences, coordinating with the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

Musk has become a prominent figure in Donald Trump’s second presidency. His position as the head of an agency tasked with cutting governmental spending has won him admirers and detractors. Musk is at the forefront of shutting down agencies like USAID and laying off thousands of civil servants.

Tesla is facing vandalism outside the States, too. Suspected troublemakers sprayed a store in the Netherlands with words denouncing Nazis and fascists, with swastika flags strewn around.
