Porsche expands Taycan lineup with 3 new versions

Porsche fans have been spoiled for choices as they can now choose from 16 Taycan options in the latest generation of the EV. The automaker is also offering an AWD version of the base model for the first time.

The Porsche Taycan is now offered in 16 versions, thanks to three new additions. The existing lineup has been joined by the AWD Taycan 4 sports sedan, GTS sports sedan, and GTS Sport Tourismo.

The Taycan 4 outputs up to 320 kW, enough to take the EV from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. Porsche promises up to 559 km between charges (WLTP standard), but the driving range can be boosted to 643 km with the Performance Plus battery options, giving it the most extended range among all the AWD models.

The GTS sports sedan and GTS Sport Tourismo best their predecessors by 0.4 seconds when accelerating from standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, and 10.4 seconds to attain 200 km/h. They are powered by an electric drive system that can output up to 525 kW.

Driving range has also seen a boost of over 120 km to 628 km (WLTP standard), meaning drivers can savour the new distinct sound profile for longer.

In addition to the new versions, Porsche offers new exterior colors, including Slate Grey Neo, Pale Blue Metallic, and Purple Sky Metallic.

Porsche has opened the order book, but the new models will be available starting in early 2025.
