SpaceX apologizes for delay in Starlink customer support replies

SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service has grown rapidly, amassing more than 250,000 users since launching in October 2020.

That popularity has led to some growing pains for the company with users experiencing delays in receiving responses from Starlink customer support.

SpaceX has recognized this as being an issue and emailed customers to apologize for the slow response times.

The email, which was shared by a Starlink subscriber on Reddit, says SpaceX has “fallen behind in our normal response time,” adding that “this is not the level of support we aim to provide.”

In an effort to fix the issue, the company says they are hiring more agents for their support team, but at the same time warned that customers will still experience an “unusual delay” in receiving a response, but will receive one “eventually.”

While some Reddit users complained about the delays, others were more positive pointing out that at least the company was acknowledging the issue and attempting to fix it.
