Tesla’s rollout of its new Supercharger Site Maps feature is accelerating at a remarkable pace, with hundreds of charging locations already supporting the tool and hundreds more being added every week.
The feature, which provides a detailed live view of Supercharger layouts and stall availability, has now expanded to approximately 300 locations worldwide. According to Max de Zegher, Tesla’s head of Supercharging, the rollout is far from slowing down.
“Site Maps is expanding fast. 300 sites have it now and we’re now adding 300+ sites/week. Giga New York team is doing a great job validating the data,” de Zegher said in response to Tesla owners noticing the feature appearing at new locations.
The rapid deployment means thousands of Tesla drivers will soon gain access to a significantly improved charging interface, reducing uncertainty and helping drivers navigate busy stations more efficiently.
Canadian Supercharger Site Maps Coming Soon
For Canadian Tesla owners, the most important update is confirmation that the feature will soon be coming north of the border. After we asked whether Supercharger Site Maps would expand to Canadian locations, de Zegher responded simply: “Yes.”

Improving Charging Today, With An Eye On Tomorrow
Supercharger Site Maps were first introduced as part of Tesla’s 2025 holiday software update, initially launching as a pilot at just 18 locations. The feature allows drivers to view a detailed map of the charging site, including stall layouts, availability status, and nearby amenities.
The system also improves stall availability accuracy by accounting for vehicles with differently positioned charge ports, ensuring drivers see a more accurate representation of usable chargers.
Beyond improving today’s charging experience, Tesla is already thinking ahead. De Zegher highlighted the feature’s broader potential, noting that “Site Maps provides an excellent canvas to keep improving over time, including for FSD/Robotaxi.”
This suggests Site Maps could play an important role in helping Tesla’s autonomous vehicles locate, navigate, and utilize charging infrastructure without human intervention.
With the rollout now accelerating to hundreds of new locations per week and Canada confirmed as part of the expansion, Supercharger Site Maps are quickly evolving from a pilot feature into a core component of Tesla’s charging ecosystem.
