Tesla has officially switched on a new Supercharger station in Sherbrooke, Quebec, bringing much needed fast charging capacity to the Eastern Townships.
The newly opened station is located at 4700 Boulevard de Portland in Sherbrooke’s Quartier Portland, a busy commercial area with easy access to nearby amenities for drivers charging on the go. According to Tesla’s in-car navigation and Supercharger map, the site features 12 charging stalls capable of delivering up to 325 kW.
According to Tesla’s website, pricing is listed at $0.31/kWh for Tesla owners. The site also supports non-Tesla EVs using a NACS adapter, with pricing for those EV owners at $0.44/kWh.

The Sherbrooke Supercharger has been on Tesla plans for well over a year. The site first appeared on the company’s official “Find Us” map around October 2024, initially marked as “In Development” before temporarily disappearing — a familiar pattern as Tesla refines project timelines internally. It later reappeared as “Under Construction,” signaling that work was moving forward.
Construction activity at the site was first spotted in late October, when underground conduit work was completed and Supercharger cabinets were installed.
Until now, Sherbrooke and the surrounding region relied heavily on a single 8-stall V3 Supercharger offering up to 250 kW. This new Sherbrooke station should help relieve pressure at that site for local owners, with its location near major roadways also making it a convenient stop for drivers passing through the region.
