Tesla owners can now look back at their year of electric road trips and charging stops in a whole new way. The company has quietly started rolling out a new feature in the Tesla mobile app called Charging Passport, a personalized annual summary that highlights your charging habits, unique travels, and overall battery-powered lifestyle throughout the year.
While Tesla has long provided charging stats inside the app, this enhancement turns data into something much more visual and rewarding. With Charging Passport, owners are presented with a collection of yearly achievements that showcase everything from the number of fast-charging stations you’ve visited to how far you’ve driven thanks to the Supercharger network.
Tesla has just introduced “Charging Passport,” a new yearly summary of your charging.

• Charging badges: Iconic Charging badge (for visiting places like the Tesla Diner, Oasis Supercharger, etc), Explorer badge, green saver badge, etc.

Included with the update is a new set of Charging Badges that you earn through real-world charging experiences. Visiting iconic Superchargers — like the Los Angeles Tesla Diner or the Oasis Supercharger in California — can unlock special “landmark” badges, while hitting new charging locations or optimizing efficiency can trigger others such as the Explorer or Green Saver badges. It gamifies charging, making it feel a little more like collecting stamps in a travel passport. (h/t: @sfmartinlin)
In addition to badges, the Charging Passport includes a breakdown of your charging activity across the year. Owners can view:
• Total number of unique Supercharger stations visited
• Total Supercharging sessions completed
• Mileage added across all charging stops
• Your top charging day of the year
• Your longest trip powered by Supercharging
• Favorite locations where you plug in most often
These insights offer a fun and informative look at each owner’s EV journey — whether they spend most of their time charging near home or they’re constantly racking up stops on long highway drives.
To view your Charging Passport, simply open the Tesla app and tap Charging on the homepage. The 2025 Charging Passport is still rolling out, so not all owners can see it quite yet. Just like other app-based feature rollouts, availability may depend on country, app version, or vehicle software.
If you’ve already gained access to Charging Passport, there’s a good chance you’ll find a badge or metric that surprises you — maybe you visited more chargers than you thought or took more spontaneous road trips than you realized. What do your stats look like? Let us know in the comments below.
