Tesla now has 50 Supercharger stalls in Hope with opening of third station [British Columbia]

Tesla has cemented Hope, British Columbia as a critical electric vehicle (EV) charging hub with the opening of its third Supercharger station in the small Fraser Valley town. The latest installation adds 16 new V4 Supercharging posts, bringing the total number of stalls in Hope to an impressive 50, all within a five-kilometer radius.

New Supercharger on Old Hope Princeton Way

The latest addition to the Hope Supercharger cluster is located at 590 Old Hope Princeton Way, conveniently placed near Highway 1 and Highway 3, making it an ideal stop for travelers heading east toward the Interior or south toward the U.S. border. The station is equipped with 16 V4 Supercharger posts, each capable of delivering up to 325 kW of charging power.

For Tesla owners, charging is priced at CA$0.31 per kWh, while non-Tesla EV drivers using the Supercharger network through the Tesla app will pay CA$0.44 per kWh. The site’s V4 hardware supports improved accessibility with longer charging cables for non-Tesla EVs.

With this latest addition, Hope now boasts three separate Tesla Supercharger sites, together offering 50 stalls—making it one of the most densely served charging locations in Canada relative to its size. This expansion highlights the town’s role as a key junction point for EV travel across the province.

Hope sits at the crossroads of several major highways, including Highway 1 (the Trans-Canada), Highway 3 (Crowsnest), Highway 5 (Coquihalla), and Highway 7 (Lougheed). This strategic location has made it a natural refueling stop for decades, and now it is transforming into a central hub for EV drivers traveling across British Columbia.
