Tesla has officially increased prices for its entire vehicle lineup in Canada as much as $30,000, or 21%. The price increases come after the Canadian government imposed a 25% tariff on U.S. vehicle imports.
With the substantial price increases, the automaker is now directing customers to explore “pre-tariff priced” inventory, available only while supplies last.
The Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive now starts at $79,990, more than $10,000 higher than the $68,990 it was priced at prior to the tariffs. Meanwhile the Performance variant climbs to $89,990, up from $79,990 previously.
You might be wondering why we didn’t mention the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive, and that’s because it is no longer offered for sale in Canada.
As for the Model Y, only the Long Range is still available, and it has increased to $84,990, a whopping $15,000 more than the $69,990 it was priced at before. Interestingly, this makes it the same price as the Launch Series Model Y, which included every option, including Full Self-Driving (FSD).
Higher-end models have seen even steeper increases. The Model S now begins at $133,990 (+$19,000), with the Plaid variant costing $154,990 (+$18,000).
Meanwhile, the Model X All-Wheel Drive is listed at $140,990 (+$19,000), and the Plaid trim reaches an eye-watering $161,990 (+$19,000).
Finally, the Cybertruck has seen the biggest price increases of all. The All-Wheel Drive now costs $139,990 (+21.7%), and the Cyberbeast is $167,990 (+21.7%).
Here’s a breakdown of the new pricing:

As we mentioned, Tesla is advertising pre-tariff inventory as a cost-saving option at the top of each online ordering page. A banner suggests Canadian buyers “Explore pre-tariff priced inventory while supplies last,” encouraging purchases of vehicles that were imported prior to the tariff implementation.
Tesla’s strategy in Canada now appears twofold: pass on most of the added tariff costs to consumers and push the sale of older inventory that was imported before the tariff was imposed. For customers, this means that inventory vehicles offer considerable savings over factory orders.
