Honda and Acura EV owners will soon have access to Tesla’s Supercharger network. The access will come this summer as Honda prepares to release its own North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter, enabling compatibility with over 20,000 Tesla Superchargers across Canada and the United States.
According to a press release from Honda, Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX will be able to purchase the NACS adapter through their respective dealerships. In Canada adapters were announced as coming in “summer 2025,” while in the U.S. it was said to be June 2025. Customers will be notified via the HondaLink and Acura EV apps when it becomes available, and these apps will also help locate compatible Tesla Superchargers once access goes live.
Honda has not yet disclosed pricing for the adapter, although adapters from other automakers have ranged from free to around $310, depending on the manufacturer.

Honda is the latest automaker to secure access to Tesla’s expansive and reliable charging infrastructure, joining companies like Ford, General Motors, Mercedes-Benz, Rivian, Polestar, and Nissan .
Like those other automakers, Honda and Acura plan to integrate the NACS charging port directly into future EV models starting later this year.
According to Tesla, BMW, Genesis, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, and Kia are listed as getting Supercharger access “soon.”
