Tesla China had another record month in March

In February, Tesla delivered nearly 4,000 electric vehicles (EVs) in China, representing nearly 30% of the entire EV market for the month.

This was despite a slowdown in market activity caused by the coronavirus outbreak in China that occurred earlier this year.

Now those February sales number look small compared to the record 10,160 sales that took place last month.

The numbers, released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), again represent about 30% of all EV sales in the month across China.

While the numbers are strong for Tesla, the overall passenger vehicle market in China is still struggling to recover, down 40.8% from the same period in the previous year.
