Latest update to Tesla iOS app shows new info on charging screen

Tesla has pushed out an update to their iOS app that helps you know what level your battery is set to charge to, or how many kilometers your battery has left.

Before this update, you were left guessing how much you had set your battery to charge to, as there was no visual display to tell you. Now when you go to the charging screen on the latest version of the Tesla iOs app, 3.10.2, you can see in the bottom left corner of the battery your targeted battery percentage, or the estimated number of kilometers you will have at your selected level of charge. The number in the corner updates as you move the slider across the battery.

This will be particularly helpful for those owners who like to see how many kilometers they will have on a full charge, without having to actually charge to 100%. When you slide the line all the way to the right, you will see your 100% charge range. The app is estimating my Standard Range Plus will get 368km on a full charge, which is about what I expect given the colder conditions we are currently experiencing in BC.

Head on over to the App Store and make you’re updated to the latest version.
